No More Savannah Sweat Lodge!

If you were on the ride last year you might remember staying in the Savannah Middle School -- otherwise known as the Savannah Sweat Lodge. The middle school didn't have any air conditioning, and it was particularly hot last year. I know a few people slept on air mattresses outside -- no tent -- until it started to rain!

Well we've got great news: We've secured the Savannah High School this year and according to our accomodations guy, it's a big upgrade from last year. YAY!

A Note About Ordering Jerseys for the 2007 Tour

This year we're using a new company to print our jerseys. We're very excited about the company because we're now able to create fully customized designs. All of the ride directors have worn jerseys made by this company and know the quality is great. The only kink so far is that because we're doing fully custom jerseys we need to submit our order much sooner than years past in order to have them by the day of registration. So, you may be wondering what this means exactly and how it pertains to you. Hopefully this will sum it up:

• JERSEYS ORDERED ON OR BEFORE APRIL 25, 2007:
  If you ordered a jersey on or before April 25th it will be available for pick-up with your registration packet starting Friday, June 22.


• JERSEYS ORDERED AFTER APRIL 25, 2007:
  We will need to place a re-order for jerseys ordered after April 25th. We need a minimum of 10 jerseys in order to place a re-order. If we receive 10+ orders after April 25th we will re-order on July 2 (the first business day after the ride). This will ensure that we give enough time for anyone else who wants to buy a jersey and hopefully help us reach the 10 order minimum. If we do not reach the 10 jersey minimum, we will issue you a full refund for your jersey order.

We apologize that this is coming at short notice and appreciate your patience and understanding.
